Access Blocked Websites In Kuwait

I have tried and used many programs and websites to access blocked websites in Kuwait, but now, I’ve found a new method that has been by far the easiest and fastest that I have ever used.

The program is called Hotspot Shield. It is a VPN that reassigns your computer to a new IP address, that is not a Kuwaiti one, and will allow you access blocked websites. All you do is open the program, click connect, wait a second or two to assign an IP, and you’re ready to go. When you’re done, you open up the program and click disconnect.

One of the best things about Hotspot Shield is the download speed. My regular highest download speed is 120 kb/s with a 1mbps account on Gulfnet and with the majority of methods I’ve used to access blocked content I would have an average highest download speed of about half that, 60 kb/s. With Hotspot Shield I only lose about 10-20 kb/s so I have an average download speed of 100 kb/s. It’s fast!

There is one annoying thing about using Hotspot Shield though, it displays a giant ad at the top of all webpages, but fear not, because you can get rid of that easily. Simply use the Firefox web browser and get the add on Ad Block+. This will forever remove that annoying ad bar at the top of every page.

I’ve been using Hotspot Shield for the past 2 months and I highly recommend it. It is hands down the fastest and easiest method to access blocked content in Kuwait. Oh, and its 100% free.

Available for both Windows and Mac.
