The Pirate Bay

One of the most famous torrent websites on the Internet. They index lots of torrents and its easy to find what you’re looking for. The comments on the site are also very helpful in tackling issues with the torrents.

How to access it:

The regular link is www.thepiratebay.org, but that link will be blocked. Instead, you go to the HTTPS (http secure link), https://thepiaratebay.org.

HTTPS uses secure sockets layer/transport layer secuirty protocals on servers, so anyone, including those who are blocked from accessing it, can get to the site, and when you’re on a HTTPS website, no one can track what website you’re on and what you’re doing there. Unless the Kuwait government finds a way to hack SSL/TLS encription, there is no way they can block this link from being able to be accessed. More information on HTTPS.

My personal favorite torrent website. I always go to this site when looking for a torrent first because it features a rating system where members can rate torrents if they’re good, bad, or contain a virus. It’s really helpful when you’re trying to look for a reliable torrent, and the comments are full of information as well.

How to access it:

Similarly to the last time, all you have to do is add an s into the http inside the link: https://btjunkie.org/.

Isohunt

Isohunt is a great torrent indexer. A lot of people still swear by the site, but I rarely go to it anymore. I only go to when I can’t find something on pirate bay or btjunkie.

How to access it:

As you probably guessed, add an s to the http inside the link: https://isohunt.com/.
