I enjoy playing fighting games on arcade cabinets immensely. Kuwait does too. Kuwait has a huge arcade scene and Kuwaitis really enjoy fighting games. The following is a database of arcade cabinets located in Kuwait that mostly pertain to fighting games, but also to old school arcade games.
The cabs are categorized alphabetically by location.

360 Mall Arcade

Games (l-r): Virtua Tennis, Virtua Golf, Virtua Strike 2, Tekken 3, Metal Slug 4, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Spiderman 91
Price: 300 fils per play.
Info: These cabs are in okay condition. When I played on Alpha 3 the balltop wasn’t screwed on right and the buttons felt mushy.

Avenues Mall

Magic Planet

Games: King Of Fighters Maximum Impact 2, Street Fighter 4
Price: 500fils per play
Info: Great condition. The buttons and stick feel responsive and great. The price is kind of high though and it’s really noisy in Magic Planet because of all the arcades.

Go Play Arcade

Games: Tekken 6, Soul Calibur 3
Price: 3 credits (around 300 fils per play)
Info: Tekken 6 is in fantastic condition. Soul Calibur is in okay condition. You don’t see a lot of Versus City cabs here in Kuwait! It is quite noisy in this arcade.

Info: This is the only working fighting game cab they have. There are a bunch of other ones in a corner but they’re broken/not working.

Salmiya

Info: These cabs have been here for quite a while and yet they seem to still work fine.

White Tower

Exact Location: Layla Tower, Salem Al-Mubarak Street. Perpendicular to Marina Mall. On the top floor.
Games: SSF4, 3rd Strike, Super Turbo, KOF 98/02, Mark of the Wolves, Blazblue, Hokuto No Ken, Tekken 6 BR, Alpha, and lots of other classic fighting games.
Price: 100 and 200 fils to play various arcades/games. SSF4 has linked consoles so it’s just like the arcade. You can play it like that for 200 fils.
Info: This is THE place to play at if you’re into fighting games. High level of play with lots of competetion. White Tower players are world known and have played in many international tournaments such as Tougeki and EVO. If you think you’re good at a fighting game you come and prove it here.

Info: Wow, where do I begin? This whole arcade is a dump. They still have all the same arcade cabs since the mall opened in 2000, except for these 3 cabs. Hakuto No Ken is on a Naomi cab with only 3 buttons… when the game requies 5 buttons to play. I laughed my ass off when I saw it. Balltops are missing on some of the sticks and theres a metallic ball top that I have never seen in my whole life. It doesn’t even look like it was made to fit on the sticks. Don’t even bother coming to this arcade because it’s a complete dump.

Exact Location: Top floor of the City Center shopping market. Next to Little Caesers.
Games: Stryder, etc.
Info: As you can see, the place is a dump and the cabs are not maintained. Only 2 work and I can only make out that one of them has Stryder on it.
