The Nikon N80 is an impressive camera. It feels great in the hands, takes great photos, and is easy, simple, and modern. It feels and controls like my Nikon D3100 but gives me full frame film quality.
I got these photos developed at the local CVS. They came out alright and after some quick editing they looked great. I’m using the 1.8d 50mm lens on these shots and they were all taken with Kodak Ultra Max 400 iso film.
The best parts about shooting film are the sharpness of people’s eyes, the extreme depth of colors and blacks in the photos, and the super smooth full frame bokeh that is hard to attain on a crop sensor camera. With the Nikon N80 you get all of this plus auto focus with AF-S G lenses.
I’m in love with my N80. And best of all it only cost me $50 with a bunch of accessories.
