PSU: Silverstone Strider 600w. Purchased from Area51 for 25kd. I was originally going to get the 500w, but the 600w was only 5kd more and allows for meatier cards if needed.
Case: Cooler master USP-100. Purchased from SunMoon computers (same string of shops as Area51 but all the way on the right) for 25kd.
This case is AWESOME! So much cleaner, roomier, and has better cable management than the Thermaltake V9 (I hate that case). Seriously I recommend this case 100x and its only 25kd. Only complaint is you can’t use a side fan because it makes this obnoxious whirling sound against the metal of the case. BEST MID-SIZE CASE EVER!

Total cost so far: 197kd.
Now there is a dilemma. Prices for video cards in Kuwait are really bloated. In Kuwait the average price of the 560ti is 95kd which is 337usd. For 337usd you can get a 660ti or a 7950 from amazon. So this means I may be ordering the video card online for about 80-90kd and paying 10kd shipping. It seems like the only viable solution to get a really good graphics card. Yes… it is cheating for this guide… but the difference in price is significant!
I’m currently thinking of getting the 7870 as it scores better than the 660 in most benchmarks.
